Sharma expresses satisfaction over completion of one year of Modi Government

Bishnah, June 7: Ex-MLA and senior Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) leader, Ashwani Sharma has said expressed satisfaction over completion of one year of Narendra Modi government in the country and initiatives taken to address problems of people.
Addressing a public rally in Bishnah today, Ashwani Sharma said that state BJP leadership is committed to take foward the Maha Sampark Abhiyan of the party deep inside the villages and make it a success.
"BJP has always been a pro-people party and has work for the welfare of all sections of the society. It is visible through this fact that more and more people are becoming part of our party under Maha Sampark Abhiyan. The process will be further expedited," sharma added.
Speaking on the occasion, former MLA Bishnah and senior BJP leader, Ashwani Sharma said that during first year in the office, Modi government has fulfilled its commitment of providing clean and corruption free government. "People in last 10 years, before Modi government was put in place, had seen only corruption and scandals which only brought misery. But in its first year alone, Modi government changed things," Sharma said.
Hitting out at opposition parties on the issue of setting of AIIMS in Jammu and playing politics, former Bishnah MLA said that it was in 2003 that union minister Sushma Swaraj laid the foundation stone of AIIMS in Jammu. "Since 2004, this project was put on back burner by the state and central government and never allowed it to get establish in Jammu. BJP government is committed to establish it in Jammu first," he said and asked opposition parties to stop playing politics over it.
Touching the local issues of Bishnah constituency, Ashwani Sharma said that road network has suffered huge damage in this area and power sector is also in shambles. "We will be taking these issues with state government and soon all pending issues will be addressed," he added.
He said that compensation of land which came under border fencing has already been taken up with the government of India and due compensation will be given to people who are waiting since long.
The others who spoke on the occasion were Narayan Dutt, Member State executive,Suraj dev singh (Senior BJP leader), Vijay Saini, Seh parmukh Mahasampark Abhiyan Zila R.S. Pura, Bishnah Coudhary (Mandal Pardhan Bishnah), Rajiv Gupta (Mandal Pardhan Arnia), Sarpunches, punches, Chairman and other prominent leaders of the area.
