AWICT demands to fill-up all posts of Commissions | | | Early Times Report Jammu, June 7: Aditi Welfare India Charitable Trust (AWICT) today demanded from Chief Minister Mufti Mohmmad Sayeed to fill-up all posts of commission. According to press release, trust national president Aditi Sharma said that most of the vital Commissions in the state are defunct either headless or vacant. Sharma further said that out six vital commissions five were lying vacant including Accountability Commission, Human Rights Commission, Commission for Women. Apart from the post of Chairperson of Commisson for Backward Classes, Electricity Regulatory Commission were also lying vacant for quite some time. Inspite of assurances these Commissions have been not functional due to which the public is suffering. No doubt names of PSC have been recommended but this important Commission is yet to take off. Government must come up to people's aspirations and fill all vacant posts at the earliest in order fulfill their commitments. Out of the five commissions government has not appointed any chairman yet and also suggested and demanded to appoint a chairperson for this commission. She further said the State Accounatblity Commission had been defunct since August, 2014 and as per information 923 cases were pending and also demanded to appoint Chairman and Members of the SAC. |
