KVK SKUAST organizes Swachh Bharat Abhiyan in Kursari 7/1/2015 10:17:50 PM Early Times Report Doda, July 1: Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) SKUAST-J, Doda today organized a programme on "Swachh Bharat" campaign at Government Primary School Kursari Tehsil Bhaderwah. The campaign was organized under the guidance of Directorate of Extension SKUAST Jammu. During the programme, scientist from KVK delivered lectures on "Importance of social cleanliness and role of students in Swachh Bharat Campaign" followed by a joint cleanliness drive of the school premises. The students and teachers took pledge to follow the cleanliness of the school and community places. Sarpanch of the panchayat, Talib Hussain lauded the efforts of the KVK Bhaderwah in extending the programme in the rural areas and making the students aware of an important social issue. He urged upon the teachers to inculcate the habit of cleanliness along the students. Refreshment was distributed to the participating students by the KVK. The programme was attended by Dr B Brahma, Dr Narinder Paul, Dr AS Charak, Dr GN Jha and Dr Munish Sharma from KVK Doda, Parvez Ahmad, Kanchan Kumari, Farida Begum from Government Primary School Kursari.
