2 BJP leaders under scanner for their murky activities 7/2/2015 12:27:43 AM Early Times Report jammu, July 1: Two newly elevated functionaries in Bhartiya Janta Party and its sister organization are under scanner of the party high command for their murky activities and corrupt image in the political circles. These two young leaders in the party are accused of making money by misusing their political connections and acting as touts of some contractors and officers for their obavious vested interests. According to the sources, the duo recently managed their elevation to very significant positions in the organization on the recommendation of a top functionary coordinating between BJP and RSS in the State. Their very appointment had also raised some eyebrows in the party circles but no one could dare to challenge the same for avoiding confrontation with the top functionary, who is also in controversies because of his too much interference in the party as well as unjustified recommendations. Even as the party was well aware about the doubtful character of these two leaders, who had remained out of BJP in past, the duo managed to get significant positions in the organizations with the blessings of their Godfather. While one of the two leaders in question was actively associated with another political outfit before his joining BJP a few years back, the other one had dissociated himself from the saffron brigade because of personal reasons and returned back to the party fold during the last Parliament elections. Their notoriety in deceiving innocent people can be judged from an incident a few years back when a group of people had approached the State BJP headquarter in Kachi Chawni for demanding back their money, which one of these two leaders had taken from them for managing government job for their wards. Now ever since their appointment on the significant positions in the organization, the duo are usually seen roaming in the offices of BJP ministers for introducing their alleged financers and seeking favours for them.
