Dealers allege CAPD for not issuing allocated ration | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, July 1: Members of Ration Dealers Association Rajouri today expressed anger against the CAPD Deptt for not issuing allocated ration to the dealers. In a press statement issued by members of dealers association including Mohammad Razaq Khan from Galuti Manjakote, they said that quantity of ration being release from CAPD store often remains on lesser side than the allocation which clearly exhibits the ill practice on the part of department and to tackle this shortage of ration, dealers have to make severe efforts and even face ire of public. He also demanded that a strict mechanism be put in place to curb the pilferage of ration when its in the hands of department. Police rescues 289 bovines, seizes 25 vehicles Early Times Report
Rajouri, July 1: In a drive against bovine smugglers district Rajouri police have rescued 289 bovine animals from the clutches of 114 bovine smugglers and have also seized 25 vehicles under the jurisdictions of various police stations/police posts in the district. The action against bovine smugglers was initiated in the month of January this year under the supervision of Dr Haseeb Mughal ,SSP and all the bovine smugglers have been booked under sections 188 RPC and 3 PCA . "The drive will continue against the bovine smugglers in the future also and all the bovine animals rescued by the police were to be sold in the Kashmir Valley on high prices" said a senior police officer. |
