JMJAC holds protest, highlights demands 7/1/2015 11:46:13 PM Early Times Report Jammu, July 1: TV fraternity comprising of Directors, Producers, Writers, Artists and Technicians under the banner of Jammu Media Joint Action Committee (JMJAC) held protest in favour of their demands. They protestors said the reasons behind the starvation is that for the last about 4 years there has been total closure of activities in both Jammu as well as Srinagar Door Darshan Kenderas because of the reasons best known to its administration from Srinagar- Jammu to Delhi. "The sufferings of thousands of television participants have therefore come on the common platform to fight for their cause with the following points. The genuine demands for formation of 24 X 7 Satellite Duggar Channel for upliftment of cultural Heritage of Jammu comprising of all such languages spoken in Jammu region like Hindi, Dogri, Pahari, Bhaderwahi, Gojri, Kishtwari, Panjabi, as well as Kashmiri language, "they added. They further said that there is no local 'commissioning after 2003-04 as the same is stopped for the unknown .reasons.
