Sampark, Rocky scripts MGCA win 7/2/2015 12:35:43 AM Early Times Report JAMMU, July 1: The duo of Sampark and Surya today guided Mayanak Goswami Cricket Academy (MGCA) to an easy nine wickets win against CCA in group-A match of the ongoing league round of the Cheverolet Cricket Cup 2015 at KC Public School ground, here. Both these cricketers gave their best with ball and bat. While Surya made 41 runs to help the side made it an easy chase of the target, Sampark took four wickets thereby restricted the opponent to a small total with his four wickets haul. Earlier, CCA won the toss and decided to bat first. The whole side bowled out for 74 runs. Deepak and Harsh Dev were top scorers with 25 and 12 runs in their respective accounts. Sampark was most successful bowler from MGCA with four wickets while Rocky took two. In reply, MGCA chased the target of 75 runs in just 11.1 overs to make it an easy win. Surya remained top scorer with 41 runs, followed by Subrat, who contributed 18 runs. Deepak took the only wicket lost by MGCA. For his taking four wickets, Sampark was declared man of the match.
