Early Times Report
Jammu, July 13: Jammu Kashmir Vichar Manch (JKVM) asked people to recognize the communal agenda of Kashmiri leaders behind the July 13 Martyrs Day. The meeting was among others Addressed by HL Bhat National General Secretary JKVM, Dr. RL Bhat National vice president, PN Pandita general secretary J&K chapter, Ashok Kangan Sr.leader JKVM, M.L.Bhat Organising secretary J&K chapter, Tej Sagar representative of JKVM Jagati camp, Santosh Koul, Ashok ji Battergam, Shiban Hakhoo . The meeting was presided over by B.L.Bhat President Jammu Kashmir Vichar Manch J&K State. The participants took stock of the current situation in Kashmir and the challenges before the Displaced Hindus of Kashmir who were the primary targets of the rioters. Speakers pointed to the fact that the events preceding the communal riots of July 13, 1931 and the events that occurred on the Black Day itself 84 years ago were communal in character and directed against the Maharaja for not for his being a Dictator but for being a Hindu. Rioters too targeted the Hindus, their houses and Business. The most unfortunate aspect of this has been the recent lionization of non-Kashmiri instigator of the 13th July riots, Abdul Kadir in Kashmir. The communal Agenda of the BLACK DAY still rules the minds in Valley. This puts a big question on the so-called secular character of Kashmir & its leaders. All this has serious implications for the return of the displaced Hindus and their Retention there. |
