PCJ hands Rs 2 lakh cheque as insurance cover to journalist family 7/13/2015 11:01:29 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, July 13: Press Club of Jammu handed over a cheque of two lakh rupees to the family of a journalist and chief editor of Urdu daily under Group Accidental Insurance Scheme today. President of Press Club of Jammu, Ashwini Kumar, today handed over cheque of Rs 2 lakh to Sarita Gupta wife of Sanjay Kishore Gupta, Chief Editor,Urdu Daily Pabandi under Personal Accidental Insurance Scheme. Sanjay Kishore Gupta, a senior member of the Press club, was injured in a fatal road accident near Chinore on February 15, 2014. Gupta was hit by a school bus and was shifted to Delhi in a critical condition. After battling for life for four long days he breathed his last on February 19, 2014. Since all journalist members of Press Club of Jammu are covered under Personal Accidental Insurance Scheme necessary paper work was completed to extend a helping hand to the members of the deceased family by the management committee.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
