Elected members of DGPC express gratitude to Sikh community | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 13: Elected members of District Gurudwara Parbandak Committee, Jammu expressed gratitude to the Sikh community for making them winner by giving their votes in recently held elections. Addressing press conference, elected members S. Avtar Singh Khalsa (Bishnah) S Ramneek Singh Jammu East), S. Fateh Singh (Gadi Garh), S. Darbinder Singh (Gole Gujral) and S. Raja Singh (Darsopur Simbal Camp) thanked the Sikh Sangat for reposing faith in them and giving them the opportunity to work as Sewadars of the community. S. Avtar Singh Khalsa while expressing his gratitude to the Sikh Sangat of his constituency said that he has been given this responsibility by the community and he will work hard to achieve the targets set forth in the manifesto issued by these candidates. S.Darbinder Singh and S.Ramneek Singh said that it is the victory of the people and now they are accountable to the wishes and aspirations of the Sikh Sangat. They pledged to act as Watch Dogs of the community and said that all the members will extend their full support to the elected committee in all constructive decisions but at the same time shall not allow the interest of the community to be compromised by the office bearers of D.G.P.C for any political interest. |
