JAMMU, July 13: Rainawari Cricket Club today registered a fine five wickets win against Patel Cricket Club to consolidate their position in the league round of the ongoing Chevrolet Cricket Cup at KC Public School ground, here. Earlier, batting first, after winning the toss, Patel Club made 106 runs for eight wickets, which, in reply, Rainawari chased in 16 overs losing five wickets. Gulshan played superb innings of 43 runs while Ridham contributed 11. From Patel Club, Hitesh and Dilbag took two wickets each. Later, Rainawari Club chased the target of 107 runs for the loss of five wickets thereby made it an easy outing against a competitive opponent. Shamad and Ankit were star performers who made 24 and 21 runs respectively. From Patel Club, Abhinav emerged as most successful bowler, who secured two wickets while Anchal bagged one. For taking two important wickets, Hitesh of Rainawari was declared man of the match and given away a Rs 500 Westside Coupons sponsored by KC Motors.
