CEO finds Govt School locked, teachers absent

Kishtwar, Aug 14: Chief Education Officer Kishtwar Vinod Kumar Soni during surprise visit to Middle School Berwar today found the school locked at around 11.30 AM.
As per the details available with "Early Times" acting on the public complaint about closure of the school during day time, the CEO immediately rushed to the school and found the public complaint true.
He ordered immediate attachment of all the six employees posted in the school with CEO office Kishtwar and initiated enquiry against all the absentees employees.
Those found absent from their duties were identified as Shama Begum (Master), Anjum Begum (Teacher), Nusrat Banoo (Master), Champa Devi (P T teacher), Rabia Banoo (Teacher) & Rubina Banoo (RRT) and Ashfaq Shah (RRT).
It is pertinent to mention that Middle School Berwar is situated on the outskirts of Kishtwar town at a stone throw distance, but despite that the teachers remain absent and school remains closed. In similar case, High School Bandrina was also found locked during school time.
