JAMMU, Aug 14: Postponed due to certain reasons, the 15th J&K State Sport Climbing Championship shall now be conducted by the Mountaineering Association of J&K at Sprawling Buds School, Chinore, here from August 22. The two-day event was earlier scheduled to be held on August seven and August eight at the same venue, a handout issued here today informed. However, it may be mentioned here that performance of climbers during this two-day State Championship shall be the main criteria for selection of climbers in state team for the upcoming 21st North Zone Sport Climbing Championship to be held at Indian Mountaineering Foundation (IMF), New Delhi from September 26 to September 28.
