JAMMU, Aug 14 : Soon after nominations of members of the autonomous sports body of J&K State Sports Council, the Government has called the first introduction with new members in the 55th meeting called on August 18 at Srinagar.
A notice in this regard has been issued by the Under Secretary to the Government Technical Education and Youth Services and Sports Department, Jyoti Raina requesting the members to attend the meeting on given date at 11 am. To be chaired by the Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed in the capacity of president of the Sports Council, the meeting is scheduled to take place at meeting hall of the Civil Secretariat, Srinagar.
Meanwhile, general secretary of the Jammu and Kashmir State Sports council Coaches Association, Satish Gupta and president, Shaktish Chopra welcomed the newly nominated members, especially those prominent sports persons and senior office bearers of the sports associations.
He assured all cooperation to the new body in promoting sports and sportspersons in the state. Other coaches who were present in the meeting of the Association included Dalbir Mehta, Anil Wadera, Manisha Gupta, Sushma Jamwal, Ritika Slathia, Suraj Bhan Singh, Arshi Nad, Shams Din, Sat Pal Singh and Vikas Sharma. |
