As there are a lot of mass media for us to choose from, namely television ,Radio ,computer and Newspaper but reading of newspaper is best among them because it has lot of benefits which can be summed up briefly.
Reading of newspaper gives us deeper in sight into the events than television does, because news programmers on television only give 30 minutes as they cannot go deep into the news but on the other hand in newspaper you can choose to spend a few minutes or a few hours reading the same news again and again.
There are a variety of interesting topics in newspapers appealing to reader of all tastes irrespective of cast ,colour and creed. News papers also help the general public to find various kinds of employments in the shape of various adverterments with regard to job opportunities.
One of best reason is that it is very cheap and economical and anybody can buy it and read as per his convenience. As the world moves fast, events happen so quickly in every sphere of life that a person should keep himself in touch with the latest developments for which news- papers are the best source of information. The newspapers can be the best culture appeal so that those who may not be well educated or may be below metric can read the paper and can feel a sense of greater importance and significance by appreciating its presentation and write ups.
There are many types of newspapers like daily, weekly, monthly, in the shape of supplementary and magazines, these days we can read news papers on internet and E. papers and more over have an over all view of the currents and latest happenings the world over.
Whereas the television helps the mind to grow lazy and lethargy while as newspapers help one to improve his /her reading skills as one's eyes are pushed to work harder in the reading of newspapers as compared to starring at a television screen which creates a problems for the eyes watching television contiounsly.The advantage/ objective of reading the newspaper is that a person is kept informed about the latest happenings in & around the world over.
A person gets good piece of information in the shape of economic, political and culture aspects of the various areas by reading news papers .However, the newspapers are not the exactly the media source of choice for type of people ,one obvious reason that newspapers have failed to attract a new generation of readers is the rise of the internet.
To conclude, it can be said that reading news papers is very important as everywhere& in every job you have to read and write as it provides information and entertainment and can makes you think and analyze the story/news that you are reading and it feels real while you are reading. |
