Housewife allegedly crosses over to PoK 8/26/2015 11:39:26 PM Early Times Report Rajouri, Aug 26: A married woman allegedly has crossed over to Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) from a border village along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir after a domestic tiff. Police sources said, "Frustrated over a domestic tiff a married woman on the intervening night of August 24/25 crossed over to other side from a border village under the jurisdiction of Police Station Poonch." "Identified namely as Shameema Akhter (23) w/o Mohd Younus of village Noorkote near Degwar Mardiyala situated along Line of Control (LoC) had some domestic dispute with her in-laws, police sources said, adding, "in a fit of rage she left the house in the late night hours and crossed over to PoK." Meanwhile the family members informed the local police in this regard today, accordingly concerned police have registered a case against FIR No 12/2015 u/s 2/3 Egress & Internal Movement Control Ordinance (E&IMCO).
