CEO Doda spells Government wrongly For him it is Goverment | | | Early Times Report
Doda, Aug 26: In a bizarre example of ignorance, an official vehicle deployed with the office of Chief Education Officer (CEO) Doda bears wrong spelling of Government. According to locals, the official vehicle attached with CEO office bearing registration No JK06-5652 inscribed with wrong spelling of government on front and the rear side as 'Government' in bold letters in red colour has become the talk of town. Reports said the vehicle especially attracted the attention not only for wrong spelling but for the reason that nobody from the office of District Officer who is the head of the Education department and is heading nearly ten thousand employees didn't bother to correct the spell for the last few weeks since the said vehicle was set on roads for official tours. Secondly the wrong spell debate raked up when Education Minister is himself visiting the schools and checking the notebooks of students while asking questions to teachers and even have issued controversial order for screening of documents of RET teachers. Now a question here arises what should be the punishment for such officers and officials who are using this vehicle and showed their indifference towards this. Pertinent to mention here that Chief Education Officer (CEO) Doda frequently is visiting Civil Secretariat Srinagar and Office of DSE Jammu to attend the official meeting in the same vehicle but still the wrong spell makes mockery of the so called educated lot of the state. Locals even dare to ask Minister for Education to scrutiny of documents of such officers who ignored such a huge blunder. If education minister seriously wants to revolutionize education system, then the screening should not be confined to ReTs only but it should be extended to all in education department to ascertain their abilities to handle the education department.
