Rashtriya Rifles' timely evacuation safe precious life | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 26: The pilgrim who suffered cardiac attack during his pilgrimage to Shri Budha Amarnath Ji Yatra in Mandi of Poonch is statated to be stable as Rashtriya Rifles deployed in the area not only excavated timely but also put on immediate resuscitation procedure. According to defence sources pilgrim from Katra Ravinder Sharma suffered massive heart attack near Kalai bridge at around 10 am on Saturday (August 22). "The ailing pilgrim was evacuated by the army troops from 6 Sector Rashtriya Rifles (RR) deployed in the area to nearby Army hospital from where he was shifted to District Hospital Poonch where his condition is stated to be stable, sources added. The family members and other pilgrims have lauded the timely and prompt reaction from Rashtriya Rifles troops who immediately offered medical first aid during the critical hour, they added. |
