Jammu, Sept. 13 : Jammu Kashmir People's Democratic Trade Union (JKPDTU) urged Finance Minister, Haseeb Drabu to get release the pending salaries of employees and clear all the financial liabilities besides announcing 6% D.A. instalment and hike in medical allowance before Eid festival so that the real joy of festival to be enjoyed.
According to press release, District president, Jasmeet Singh Madaan said that It is a well known fact that with empty pocket, neither an employee can enjoy the festival nor his family and it has been seen that in many departments particularly in education departments, salary of RETs/ SSA Teacher's/Master's is pending, many GP Fund withdrawal clearances are pending in the Treasuries, daily wagers working in PHE, PDD and other allied sectors are waiting for their salaries for months together.
He further urged that Jenab Haseeb Drabu to act swiftly and clear all the pending salaries besides GP Fund clearances well before the Idd festival so that the real joy is felt by the employees community. |
