Fearing exposure of their misdeeds, BJP leadership hesitating to take action against erring leaders of Valley | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 13: Even as the party was in dilemma to take action against some leaders who had supported imposition of Jaziya and had opposed ban of slaughtering of bovine animals, another party today announced to organise beef party. The so-called nationalist Hindu party has landed in a very difficult situation but the party leaders are not ready to take action against those leaders who have supported slaughtering of bovine animals and organizing beef parties. Credible sources in the BJP said that Kashmir based party, who were imported from different parties or organisations on the eve of 2014 Assembly elections, are aware of "misdeeds and misconducts," some of the senior BJP leaders who have been frequently visiting Kashmir Valley in the name of "strengthening" party in Kashmir. There is fear among these senior "nationalist " BJP leaders that any action against such erring leaders of Kashmir Valley would be proved counter-productive because those Valley based leaders would expose their "misdeeds and misconducts" to the public in reaction. Credible sources further revealed that during 2014 Assembly elections BJP had pumped crores and crores of rupees to open its account in Kashmir Valley. Due to hue flow of huge money, some nationalist leaders , who were taught to adopt simplicity in the life, could not control themselves and were shamelessly indulged into corrupt practices with the help of some Kashmir based leaders who were imported from other parties and groups. These "imported" leaders were acted as facilitators to help some "nationalist" BJP leaders to indulge into immoral activities. Now these "imported" leaders who were given much importance by the leadership of party have indulged into some sort of "blackmailing". They are aware that corrupt party leaders don't have guts to take action against them because they were part and parcel of their corrupt activities. As reported earlier on Friday, a BJP leader of Kashmir Valley Fayaz Ahmed Bhat had supported imposition of Jaziya on devotees of Mata Vaishno Devi and he had also opposed banning of bovine animals. Today another leader from south Kashmir will organise a beef party to send across a message of religious tolerance. "I have decided to organise a party for both Hindus and Muslims. The Muslims will be served beef and the Hindus an exclusively vegetarian meal. They will share a table and it will send a message of brotherhood and religious tolerance," Khurshid Ahmad Malik, who unsuccessfully contested the 2014 Assembly elections from Kokernag in south Kashmir on BJP ticket last year, reportedly told a news agency. Insiders in the BJP said that Bhat and Malik are very close to a senior BJP leader who these days was projecting himself as expert of Kashmir politics. |
