SLNMMT condemns provoking statement of separatists over beef ban 9/13/2015 10:59:13 PM Jammu, Sept 13 : Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Management Trust (SLNMMT) has strongly condemned the despicable and provocative statements of some separatists and others in Kashmir on cow slaughter and sale of beef. According to press release, the trustee meeting which was here last evening under the chairmanship of President G S Charak took note of the deplorable developments taking place in Kashmir on the issue of cow slaughter and expressed profound anguish over these calling these outrageous. In a resolution adopted by it, the Trust said that while the High Court reiterated century old state law reflected in section 298 A of Ranbir Penal Code which make cow slaughter and sale of beef an offence punishable with sentence up to ten years, the separatist leaders and other anti national elements are rousing communal sentiments in the valley on this issue which is very pious to the lakhs of Hindus.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
