BMS deputation calls on Dy CM, highlights issues | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sep 13 : A deputation of Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) met with the Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh at his residence and submitted a memorandum to him regarding poor functioning of J&K Building and other Construction Workers Welfare Board. As per press release, the deputation was led by Lakshman Ravinder Singh senior leader BMS along with Ashok Choudhary General Secretary BMS Harbans Choudhary General Secretary BNMS. During their interaction with Deputy Chief Minister, the members of BMS apprised him about the thousand of education assistance, marriage assistance and death compensation cases pending cases. They alleged that the Labour Commissioner offices throughout the state are running in shortage of fund for disposal of such cases due to non release of fund by the Chief Executive Officer J&K Building and Other Construction workers welfare board. Moreover the CEO has also imposed impracticable formalities for registration and other assistances cases on its own without approval of the Welfare board. BMS has demanded that funds be released immediately and Board also reconstituted and representation be also given to Bhawan Nirman Mazdoor Sangh. |
