Public representatives apprise DC Rajouri of violation of Govt order on detachment of teachers | DC assures appropriate action | | Early Times Report
rajouri, Sep 13: Expressing concern over the deteriorating education system in the tehsil Sunderbani, many Sarpanchs and Panchs of the area have alleged that the government order of detachment of teachers who have been attached in being violated as many teachers are still attached due to non seriousness of the concerned education officers. The issue was raised by nearly 25 Sarpanchs and Panchs of various panchayats in Sunderbani tehsil during a public meeting organized by Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Shabir Ahmand Bhat which held at Dak Bunglow Sunderani. The public representatives apprised the DC Rajouri that some teachers, clerk, headmasters of various schools are attached in violation of government order with best knowledge of ZEO and CEO. "The Governor NN Vohara had issued an order in 2013-14, detaching all teachers, headmasters and attaching them at their original place of posing but the order is not being implemented with letter and spirits," they alleged. Informing DC Rajouri, Sarpanch of Upper Hathal Ram Singh said that there is a headmaster Badshah Lal Hussain of Government Middle School Lower Hathal who is attached at AG Office Jammu for the last six years. "It was very surprising the Headmaster was drawing salary with the help of the then ZEO Ravinder Khajuria who did not comply with the government order and moreover when ZEO was asked as to why headmaster has not been detached till date, ZEO lied saying that headmaster has been transferred" they said. Meanwhile, Sarpanch Devak, Om Parkash apprised the DC that most of the teachers in Government Higher Secondary School Devak are related to senior government officials and politicians who have managed themselves transferred in the school by using influence and all resides near the schools. |
