Shakti Sharma conferred with Indo-UN Pin 9/13/2015 11:00:43 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Sep 13 : Inspector Shakti Sharma conferred with Indo-UN pin by UNIC India Director Kiran Mehra Kerpelman for her exemplary role in community policing in J&K State. UNIC director appreciated her role in capacity building among local women and girls. She appealed young girls to follow officers like Shakti in their life. Inspector Shakti served in Afghanistan as police Advisor for two years during United Nations Mission. Later she served in East Timor as part of UN Peace Keeping force. Kerpelman was on a visit to Jammu to inaugurate UN-GGF Peace Trophy 2015 under the name Gandhi Mandela Cricket Series for Special children of J&K State.
