JKPSA organizes one day conference, highlights various issues 9/13/2015 11:14:13 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 13: One day conference was organized under the banner of Jammu and Kashmir Private Schools Association Jammu (JKPSA) and highlighted various issues. A general body School Leaders Summit was organized by the central executive body at Suraj Palace, Akhnoor Road Jammu under the chairman ship of Prof JL Kotwal. School heads of more than 200 institutions including G. N. Var President, Joint committee of Private schools of Kashmir was also present on the occasion. During conference they also discussed about the new policies & number of challenges presented by the State govt to discourage the initiative of marginal profit earning private schools which are working for the welfare of mankind. All members discussed the teething problems threadbare. Later, it was resolved unanimously that members of central executive body shall hold a press conference to educate the general masses and also meet with Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister. It was again resolved that all schools whether govt. /CBSE /ICSE should be brought under the ambit of new formalities pointed out for the recognition / affiliation privately run schools.
