Two ReT Forums come under one banner, threaten to intensify stir 9/13/2015 11:15:41 PM EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Sept 13: Two different ReT Forums have decided to come one platform to get their issues redressed by the Government. The decision to come under the common banner of All J&K ReT Teachers Forum was announced in a press conference here today by the All J&K ReT Teachers Forum led by State president Vinod Sharma and the other Forum led by Bhupinder Singh. While speaking in the joint press conference both the groups said that it is the time to show unity and work together for the betterment of the ReT community to get their issues resolved at the earliest by the government. While talking to media persons, Sharma expressed his strong resentment against the government for its callous approach to resolve their pending demands. He said that ReT teachers under SSA are without salary for last 4 to 6 months and their family members are on the verge of starvation besides repeated requests that their salaries must be released on priority. While appealing the Director School Education, Jammu to speed up the process of regularization of ReTs, he further said that ReT teachers who have completed their five years of service one and a half years back have not been regularized till date which is gross injustice with them. He also demanded the regularization of KGBV Teachers and release of Mid Day Meal dues which are pending for the last 1 ½ years.
