Udhampur, Sept 13: The monthly meeting of Udhampur unit of All J& K Plus 2 Lecturers' Forum was held on Sunday, under the chairmanship of Ashok Sharma.
According to press release, during the meeting, the speakers expressed concern over the large numbers of vacancies of different teaching and non teaching cadres, especially in schools falling in remote and far flung areas.
They demanded filling up of the vacancies by DPC and under fast track recruitment to regulate the teaching learning process in a proper manner. They also demanded enhancement in the grade pay of Principals and declaration of their post as non vacational, removal of pay anomaly of lecturers in Physical Education, Running Pattern in favour of +2cadre, formulation and implementation of rational Transfer Policy and regularisation of all Jt.Directors, Chief Education Offices, Principals and lecturers serving in the Incharge capacity in the School Education Department.
Speaking on the occassion, Ashok Sharma urged the government to take urgent steps to post teaching and non teaching staff in the schools functioning sans adequate staff.
Prominent among others who addressed the meeting included Ashwani Kumar, Pawan Abrol, Mohan Lal Sharma, Ram Murti, Luxmi Kant, Ravi Kanchan, Janak Singh, Joginder Kumar, Amrit Lal, Surinder Kumar, Bhim Sein,and others. |
