Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 13: Various Sikh organizations J&K under the chairmanship of S. Mohinder Singh, Chief Organizor of Bhai Kanayahi Nishkam Seva Society, J&K held meeting and expressed concern on the firing at borders and demanded Rs 20 lakh compensation to the victims' family. The joint meeting which was attended by Sikh United Front, All India Students Sikh Federation, Sikh Welfare society, Sikh Noujawan Sabha, Member D.G.P.C Jammu, especially showed very much their heartfelt pains on the firing of border areas very much such as at Poonch, R.S Pura etc. etc and had urged the Central Government to pay Rs. 20 Lakhs, each of the family, who had lost their members in such firing of these borders. Moreover a rule may be made in this regard that as per the guidelines of the SRO-43, so that the members lost of their families may get a government Job on the said lines for safeguarding the families. |
