Early Times Report Rajouri, Dec 27: Annual religious congregation was today held in Shiv Parivar Cave located on the hills of Mankote village of Thandikassi area of Rajouri. A large number of devotees from across the district took part in this programme wherein special prayers were also offered for peace and communal harmony in the area. A bhandara was also organised on this occasion. Meanwhile locals of the area and cave committee led by Sarpanch Yougesh Sharma and other prominent citizens including Jagdish Raj, Subash Chander Sharma, Kewal Sasan, Prem Nath, Mohan Lal, Bushan Sasan, Krishan Bakshi castigated state government for ignoring Shiv Parivar Cave, with which religious sentiments of people are attached, and said that despite repeated assurances made by leaders and officers, no developmental activity has been carried out at the shrine. |
