Kho-Kho competition organized for Girl students 12/27/2015 11:41:17 PM Early Times Report RAMBAN, Dec 27 : Rashtriya Rifles Battalion based at Nachlana under Delta Force took another step to bring smiles on the faces of students studying in Government Schools of Nachlana and adjoining areas by conducting Inter School Kho-Kho competition for girl students at Government High School Nachlana. The aim of the tournament is to encourage sports amongst the girl students and identify budding sports talent in area. The competition was held for one day at Govt High School Nachlana, where total of eight teams from adjoining Govt School participated in the competition. The competition was held in knockout basis. The final match was played between Govt High School Nachlana and Govt Middle School Khari. The match was won by Govt High School Nachlana. The final match was followed by elaborate prize distribution ceremony. Sarpanch and Chairman of Nachlana was the Chief Guest on the occasion and presented the winners and runner up team. Beside gifts, cash awards were also awarded to the winning and runner up teams. The competition was a huge success in terms of unearthing the talent of girl students from remote areas and channelizing their energy in the constructive field of sports and proving a platform for girls students to showcase their sporting talents.
