SSP Kishtwar chairs police public meeting at Thakrie 1/4/2016 10:08:03 PM Early Times Report KISHTWAR, Jan 4: In order to improve police-public relations, SSP Kishtwar Sandeep Wazir today held a Police public meeting at Thakrie Kishtwar in which about 50-60 prominent citizens belong to various political, religious, social organizations of the area attended the meeting. During the course of the meeting, SSP Kishtwar delivered an elaborate speech on peace, secularism and communal harmony, and appealed the participant to disseminate the message of peace in every nook and corner of the District Kishtwar. They were also requested to have close coordination with Police by providing specific information regarding activities of any anti-social element/trouble shooter or any criminal, so that they could be dealt sternly under law. They were further requested to maintain law and order/ communal harmony/peace/brotherhood in every sphere of field beside were stressed to come forward and share their demands/grievances with Police at any time. The participants also gave assurance for co-operating the police for betterment of the society.
