Pak think tanks snub Indian media, want it to support Modi Govt
Pathankot terror attack

Early Times Report

JAMMU, Jan 4: Strange things are happening these days in New Delhi and Islamabad. In New Delhi and Noida TV studios, the Pakistan policy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is being denounced and condemned and held responsible for the January 2 Pathankot terror attack that left seven of brave soldiers dead and more than 20 others wounded, some of them fatally.
Barring the shameless BJP spokespersons, all those who are taking part in the debates on the Pathankot terror attack and its fallout are on the same side. They want PM Modi to review his Pakistan policy taking into consideration the country's paramount national interest as well as Pakistan's hostile attitude towards India and its single-point break-India agenda.
Very significantly, almost all the Indian anchors who are conducting these debates are equally critical of PM Modi's foreign policy vis-à-vis Pakistan. They, too, want PM Modi to review his stand in the wake of the act of treachery that Pakistan through Jaish-e-Mohammad terror operatives committed against India, saying it would be suicidal to pin faith in the powerless Pakistan Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif.
The fact of the matter is that the Indian media, especially the electronic, and all the Indian think-tanks are questioning the rationale behind PM Modi's surprise visit to Lahore on December 25 and urging him not follow the dangerous path. His visit to Lahore has not produced the desired results, they are saying, adding that the New Delhi's U-turns have only lowered the morale of our security forces and further undermined our resolve to call the Pakistani bluff.
Believe it or not, but it is a fact that in Islamabad, all the Pakistani think-tanks are speaking very high of PM Modi. Besides shamelessly claiming that the Pathankot terror attack was the handiwork of the Indians themselves, they have been asking the Indian think-tanks and TV anchors to support the endeavours of PM Modi and follow in the footsteps of External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, Home Minister Rajnath Singh and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval.
Their argument against the Indian think-tanks and Indian anchors is that PM Modi, EAM Swaraj, HM Singh and NSA Doval have not named Pakistan as they knew that Islamabad had nothing to do with the Pathankot terror attack. It has happened for the first time in 68 years that Pakistani rabble-rousers and anti-India elements are praising the North and South Blocks, which house the offices of the PM, EAM, HM and NSA. It is not difficult to understand the reasons why they are commending Modi, Swaraj, Singh and Doval. Everything should be self-explanatory.
Again, believe or not, but the fact is that the Pakistani rogues are using objectionable words against PM Modi. They are saying that Pakistan Prime Minister didn't go to India in the manner PM Modi came to Lahore to meet Sharif. "Modi came to Lahore without any invitation. Pakistan didn't kneel. India knelt. Don't blame Pakistan for the Pathankot terror attack," they have been saying.
The worst part of the whole situation is that the BJP spokespersons are not countering the Pakistani no-holds-barred attacks on the Indian media and the Indian think-tanks or even the Pakistani attacks on PM Modi.
One thing is very clear: The Indian nation is feeling deeply hurt. It wants PM Modi to act, abandon the idea of talks with Pakistan, cancel the scheduled foreign secretary-level talks with Pakistan and take action against the rogue state of Pakistan. They want the Government of India to break Pakistan into four parts - Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan and Wazir-e-Stan like it broke Pakistan into Pakistan and Bangladesh in 1971, saying disintegration of Pakistan is the only option left for India to end the scourge of terror in India.
