| Qazi assumes charge of SDM Chatroo | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar, Jan 4: The people of Chatroo today got new Sub Divisional Magistrate after nearly seven months after the transfer of former SDM.
As per the details available with "Early Times", former Block Development Officer Chatroo Masood Ahmed Qazi who was recently inducted into KAS on the bases of his meritorious services today assumed the charge of SDM Chatroo.
The people of Chatroo and its adjoining areas feel a sign of relief over the posting of local SDM as the people faces lot of problem due to non availability of SDM at recently created Sub Division of Kishtwar District having the population of more than 40000, mostly Gujjar and Bakerwals.
Earlier Rural Development Department Rajouri organized a grand farewell at Hotel Ashirwad in the honor of Masood Ahmed Qazi who served as District Panchayat Officer Rajouri since last 8 months before his transfer and posting as SDM Chatroo.
The farewell party was attended by ACD Rajouri Noor Alam, AD Planning Rajouri R K Sharma, BDO Rajouri Javeed Chowdhary and other staff members of RDD Rajouri.
While talking to "Early Times" Masood Ahmed Qazi assured the people of Chatroo that he will work with zeal and zest for the welfare of people and hoped that people of Chatroo will cooperate with him in similar way like they cooperated with him during his previous postings. |
