Udhampur Terror Attack: Court extends judicial remand of Naved, 5 others

Jammu, Jan 4: NIA Special Judge Kishore Kumar today extended for 13 days the judicial remand of Mohammad Naveed alias Usman, son of Mohammad Yaqoob of Kukianwala in Rafiq Colony of district Faisalabad in Pakistan, Khursheed Ahmed Bhat, son of Ghulam Mohammed Bhat of Bhatpora, Pulwama, Showkat Ahmed Bhat, son of Ali Mohammad Bhat of Khardermuh, Pulwama, Shabzar Ahmed Bhat, son of Abdul Rashid Bhat of Nai Basti, Gulshan Abad in Kulgam, Khursheed Ahmed Ittoo and Fayaz Ahmed Ittoo alias Foyaz.
The judge, after hearing the two sides and after perusal of the case dairy, observed that as per the investigation conducted in this case, one more accused namely Ashiq Hussain Bhat alias Ubaida, who was also found involved in the conspiracy behind the attack, was absconding and had not been apprehended till date and more evidences oral and documentary were yet to be collected to finalize the investigation.
With these observations, the court allowed the application and granted 13 days judicial remand of the accused.
