| NSWA demands scrapping of JKSSB | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 4 : National Students Welfare Association (NSWA) demanded scrapping of JKSSB and creation of Independent regulator.
A meeting of NSWA, a voluntary student NGO was held here today at Jammu to express resentment over the cases of copying in some of the centre of examination being conducted by the service selection Recruitment Board (JKSSB). The association has asked the state government to appoint an independent regulator to recruit the youth of the state in several posts. The association has said that SSB lack the sense of transparency and ethics in recruiting the youth for several posts as the students are on the roads from the last one week.
The association has demanded immediate action against the erring official involved in this menace. NSWA Chairman Sadaket Malik said that JKSSB is working under the dint of politicians and has put a question mark on career of the students. The association felt it worthwhile to suggest for scrapping of JKSSB and creation of an independent commission of recruitment through cabinet resolution act. |
