JTC holds meeting | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 6: A meeting of Jagti Tenement Committee was held here today under the Chairmanship of Shadi Lal Pandita. According to press release, Shadi Lal Pandita said that government has added to the sufferings of the Migrant Pandit Community by ignoring them on all fronts. "Aadhar cards have not yet been prepared for major migrants putting up at Jagti Migrant Camp", he said, adding that the inmates of this migrant camp have time and again requested the authorities for ensuring preparing Aadhar Cards of the migrants putting up at Jagti but a deaf ear has been paid to their requests and representations. Pandita has demanded that the Government should ensure deputing a team of the concerned department for ensuring preparation of Aadhar Cards of all migrants putting up at Jagti and issuing the same to the respective beneficiaries at an earliest. He further said that those migrant youth serving under PMs employment package in Kashmir Valley have been put to sufferings by non release of their monthly salaries for past two months. "The government should declare the policy for return of Kashmiri Pandit migrant community to Kashmir Valley for their permanent rehabilitation in valley in a safe and secure place", he concluded. Ved Lal Pandita, Raj Nath Tickoo, Sunil Koul, Hari Krishan Pandit, Vinod Bhat, S.L. Kar, Rattan Lal Bhat, R.L. Manhori and Shuban Ji Raina also attended the meeting. |
