Jammu, Jan 6: Dental Technicians of Jammu Division highlighted various issues with Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation (JKMEF) for redressal.
A meeting of all Dental Technicians of Jammu Division held at JKMEF Office under the Chairmanship of Sushil Sudan President JKMEF and discussed various facets with leaders and pointed out some important issues which need immediate redressal. While, Sushil Sudan assured the Federation for giving their full support and united hand in achieving any set goal for the welfare of Dental Technicians. The demands which were highlighted included Registration of Dental Technicians in Part- B, Long pending DPC of the Cadre, should be conducted twice a year, Creation of posts of Technical Officer in Districts as well as at Block level, Creation of post of Supervisor Dental Technician and Senior Dental Technician in every CHC, Creation of Posts of Head/Supervisor/Senior Dental Technicians in DHS/HERO & Medical Supply Corporation, Risk allowance should be given to Dental Technicians and Amendment of SRO 20 dated: 20-02-1992, which is still pending in Adm. Deptt. for more than 15 years. At the end of the meeting a general body election of the association was held under the supervision of Sushil Sudan, President JKMEF. Santosh Kumar was unanimously nominated and elected as Provincial President of the Association and Sanjay Khajuria as District President for Jammu District, Rakesh Saini and Surinder Sharma as Vice President, Subash Manhas as General Secretary, Rajesh Gupta as Cashier, Sat Pal as Joint Secretary, Suresh Manhas and Garuram as Advisors. |
