Jammu, Jan 6: Senior citizens and social activists of Chhani Himmat and adjoining areas under the chairmanship of Ashutosh Gupta, Convener of Chhani Himmat Vikas Manch (CHVM) today condemned the dastardly and cruel act of terrorism by Pak trained terrorists who tried to attack Pathankot Air Force base.
The gathering in this meeting also took a candle march from Police Line Chowk Chhani Himmat upto Green Belt Park-7 to express solidarity with bereaved families of brave soldiers who attained martyrdom.
Ashutosh Gupta exhorted the citizens to be alert to enemy's nefarious designs by maintaining a constant state of vigil and urged the citizens to identify themselves with the cause of the soldiers.
Prominent citizens namely Captain Lalit Sharma (IFS) Add. PCCF Retired NMC Chief Subash Shastri, Ramakant Sharma, Khem Raj, Saurab Jandial, Bupesh Khajuria Sachin Gupta, H.L. Mehra, Ashok Dogra, Rattan Lal Chander, attended the march. |
