Poonch, Jan 6: Expressing grave concern over erratic power supply and inadequate diagnostic facilities in Poonch hospital, Provincial Youth National Conference President Jammu Ajaz Jan on Wednesdaysaid that due to lackadaisical attitude of the PDP-BJP coalition government service sector had adversely affected.
Addressing party workers here, Jan made a particular mention of the CT Scan placed in the District Hospital and said this has not been made functional so far. Similarly, the other facilities in the hospital are far from satisfactory. "The health sector needs to be geared up for meeting the requirements of the ailing people during the ongoing winter, especially in remote and far off areas, he said.
Senior National Conference leader also expressed dismay over power supply and its distribution and said that 132 KV Transmission Line got damaged during the floods and incessant rains over a year ago but ironically has not been set right as a result of which people are suffering.
Jan also criticized the coalition government's educational policy and said the mess created over tuition has put the younger generation in quandary. Later, Jan led workers protest against the lack of various services in Poonch. |
