Kishtwar, Jan 6: Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Kishtwar, has ordered the suspension of eight health officials for remaining absent from their duties at Primary Health Center (PHC), Chatroo, on January 2, 2016. In his order issued yesterday vide No CMO/Admn/3003-6, CMO, Dr Sham Prashad Gupta stated that MLA, Inderwal, Ghulam Mohammad Saroori paid a surprise visit to PHE Chatroo on January 2 last and found that eight officials were absent from their duties. They included Dr Fareed Ahmed Wani, Medical Officer (ISM), NRHM, Mohammad Ishaq Dawasaz (NRHM), Babita Devi FMPHW (NRHM), Vikas BAN&EO (NRHM), Naseer Ahmed BAM (NRHM), Dr Syed Tajamul, Farooq Ahmed, lab technician, and Mahtab Begum, Nursing Orderly. "So, pending inquiry in the matter, regular staffers -- Farooq Ahmed, Laboratory Technician, and Mahatab Begum, Class IV employee, are herby placed under suspension with immediate effect. They shall remain attached with BMO office, Chatroo, who shall chargesheet them and furnish the detailed report," reads CMO order. Dr Tajamul (contractual) shall be chargesheeted and his case for termination will be recommended to the higher authorities and his salaries will be stopped immediately till further orders, the order says. CMO also forwarded the case of absentee employees working under NRHM for termination of their services to competent authority and also kept their salaries withheld till further orders. |
