Kishtwar, Feb 9: Acting on a specific input, police today recovered a minor Chhattisgarh girl from a house at Poochal here and handed over to Jammu police. The girl, a student of 9th, had gone missing from Muthi area of Jammu on January 23 last. She was putting up with her parents at Muthi from where she went missing. A report in this regard was lodged at Domana police station by her family. When the girl told police that she actually hailed from Muthi, they contacted Domana police station. ASI Talib Hussain was deputed by Domana police station to get her back. She was recovered from the rented accommodation of Tej Ram, son of Dharam Chand of Haval Chinghan in Chatroo, Kishtwar, at Poochal. Sources said she was lured by one Amit Kumar, son-in-law of Tej Ram and father of two children, on the pretext of marrying her with his brother-in-law Sanjay Kumar. Both the accused are working in Jammu and were presently in custody of Domana police. The medical examination of the girl would also be got conducted by police to ascertain whether she had also been sexually exploited by the accused. |
