| BJP to take decision on Govt formation in JK today | | |

Jammu, Feb 9: The Sangh is likely to take a decisive decision on the possibility of Government formation in meeting at N Delhi on Wednesday. Senior leaders of the BJP and Sangh leadership are scheduled to attend the crucial meeting.
The Sangh which has worked hard on the ground to get the position where the BJP was able to come to governance is of the view BJP while moving away too much from its core ideological issues should strike a balance.
The BJP will be given the feedback of the meeting and this will form the frame work for the possible meeting of the PDP president Mehbooba Mufti with the top leadership of the BJP.
"The meeting will discuss the broad modalilties of the possibility of the Government formation, why there are road blocks and how the BJP can emerge winner without losing much ideological ground. The Central leadership will get the entire feedback from the State functionary before taking a final call," said a senior BJP leader.
The Central BJP leadership is also meeting shortly and will be sending its emissary to meet PDP president Mehbooba Mufti shortly. The party feels that the logjam on Government formation has to end soon and for that dialogue process should start soon as delay can only result in hardening of postures on both the sides.
"We are open to dialogue and meeting but the Centre has to be sensitive to our concerns and it must understand that we are dealing with a different and difficult situation. Unless the Centre shows that concern and also the will, the process can't move forward and that's the reason we are not setting up any deadlines," said the PDP leader. |
