NMA celebrates annual day function 2/10/2016 1:21:33 AM Early Times Report Udhampur, Feb 9: National Model Academy, Kail Paldhai celebrated its Annual function cum prize distribution function with great enthusiasm & exuberance. The function commenced with the lighting of the lamb by the Cheif Guest, Jugal Kishore Sharma, MP alongwith Guest of Honour Rakesh Jamwal Joint Director Planning and other special guests who were present on the occasion. The function started with welcome speech by Nirmal Kesar Managing Director of the school. This was followed by melodious welcome song Mangal Gan in honour of esteemed guests. The students presented Ganesh vandhana praying Lord Ganesha for the success of the function.The cultural programme began with a dance by the Tiny tots of the song "papa mere papa". The students of each class gave their performance with grace & got a big round of applause which included "Are dawar palo" which manaifested friendship of Lord Krishna & his friend Sudhamma and Dogri song "Uccha te lamba passar". The foot tapping music along with colourful dress & dance steps by the little childrens put a smile on everyone's face. The school annual report was presented by the school principle smt Raj Rani Rajput highlighting the achievements of students in various fields. It was a proud movement for the toppers of previous year who were falicilated by the cheif guest. Students who are excellent in co-curicular activities, sports and the winning athlete team & house teams were given cups & shields. Sonali sharma got student of the year award for her great performance in every field where as Teacher Sonia Rajput got best teacher award. Speaking on the occasion Chief Guest, praised the staff and management of school for such a wonderful function and motivated all to keep working hard with sincere endeavour. The Chairman of the School, Jagdish Raj Sharma honoured all the esteemed guests by presenting shawls & momentos. Vote of thanks was presented by Dr Neeraj Kesar, Administrator Officer of the school.
