Jammu, Feb 9 : Mahant of Shri Ranbireshwar temple, Rishi Ban Ji Maharaj , Shri Ranbireshwar Mandir Welfare committee along with Jammu and Kashmir Dharamarth Trust to organize Shiv Barat ( Shobha Yatra ) onMarch 5 on the holy occasion of MahaShivratri festival falling on March 7 , 2016.
Addressing media persons, Mahant Rishi Ban said that on March 5, a grand Shobha Yatra of Lord Shiva ( Shiv Barat ) will be jointly organized by Jammu and Kashmir Dharamath Trust and Shri Ranbireshwar Mandir Welfare committee. He said that this Shobha Yatra will start from Shri Ranbireshwar Ji Temple sharply at 3.30 PM on March 05. This Shobha Yatra( Shiv Barat ) will pass through all main bazars of the old city viz. City Chowk , Raghunath Bazar , Residency road, Rajinder Bazar, Kanak Mandi , Old Hospital Road, Purani Mandi, Link Road , Jain Bazar , Mubarak Mandi , Upper Bazar , Pacca Danga . Moti Bazar, Parade Chowk and will finally culminate at Shri Ranbireshwar Temple.
He said that on March 07 free Medical Camp with the active co-operation of Indian System of Medicines (Govt. Ayurvedic Hospital Indira Chowk) will also be organized at temple premises in which renowned doctors will examine the patients and give them free medicines. Some religious, cultural programmes will also be organized by the renowned artists on the occasion of MahaShivratri Festival.
He appealed all religious minded people to take part in these programmes and got blessings of Lord Shiva. |
