Jammu, Feb 14: Under its heritage series, Indian Cultural Forum Organised Basant Milan in collaboration with Gurudham Radha Krishan Sanskritik Mandai Jammu, wherein B.S Bali Ex. Principal Institute of Music & Fine Art and renowned classical singer of the state was felicitated. Dr. Yograj Padha prominent analogist of the state was also felicitated for his services to the Jammuites. Vijay Singh Sambyal Station Director All India Radio Jammu was also feiicitated for his contribution in the field of Music, Stage, Radio & Television.
A programme of Bhajan Singing was presented by Gursharan Kour, Apoorva Jamwal, Mavish Sharma, Vivek Mohan, Rahul Kumar, Shyam Manyal, Virender Kapadia under the Music Direction of Sham Sajan Director of Indian Cultural Forum. Rakesh Anand presented Raag Shudh Sarang and Karan Malhotra accompanied on tabla. B.S Bali presided over the function, Dr. Yograj Padha was the Chief Guest whereas D.C Raina Sr. Advocate J&K High Court and Sureshta Khajuria Principal Shangrilla School and Gurdas Sharma Advisor Jammu Yatri Bhawan Haridwar were guests of Honour and Vijay Singh Sambyal was special guest.
Dr. Nirmal Vinod in his welcome address highlighted the activities of GURDHAM Radha Krishan Sanskritik Mandai and Indian Cultural Forum. B.S Bali in his presidential address appreciated the efforts of Indian Cultural Forum and Sanskritik Mandai for organizing such grand function. Raj Kumar Behrupia a well known broadcaster anchored the programme. A Priti Bhoj was also arranged for the audience. Basant Milan was organized with the common efforts of Gurbaksh Sethi, Pushpinder Talwar, Kewal Malhotra, Kuldeep Verma, Dwarika Nath, Mohan Lal & Sham Sajan. |
