GHSS Katra turns into battlefield for warring groups of students | Staff watches as lame ducks | | Shiv Dev Thakur
Early Times Report
Katra, Feb 14: GHSS Katra, tuned into a battle field today when two groups of some Students of class 12th assaulted each other grievously. The members of the staff watched from the distance as lame ducks. The clash that started over a trivial incident exaggerated into a bloody war with some of the students used sharp edged weapons on their own school mates. Shamefully, the members of the staff witnessed the entire incident from a distance and none of them dared to intervene to stop the students from skinning each other off. One of the students pleading anonymity said that the Principal of the School left the school at around 12 'O' clock and soon after some students accompanied by former students came to school and after heated arguments started thrashing the other group of Students. She added that this is not for the first time that such an incident happened in the School and rued that there were no security arrangements to keep a check on such activities by certain students. Principal Tripta Bhardwaj when contacted said, " I was on half day leave and soon after I left, some students came and thrashed the others and were then stopped by the staff". She added that the she had written a letter to authorities seeking security arrangements in the school campus to keep the miscreants away. She however evaded her responsibility over the incident saying, " those who were involved in the incident have ceased to be the students of the school as they have been issued their Roll no slips and have technically passed out from the school". |
