'Desperate' BJP leaders to meet Mehbooba today | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 14: Desperate to retain power at any cost state unit of BJP has decided to send three senior leaders at Srinagar on Monday to meet PDP president Mehbooba Mufti to appeal her to take other as Chief Minister of the State. Former Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh, state BJP chief Sat Sharma, CA and former Social Welfare Minister, Bali Bhagat are going to Srinagar to participate in 40th day of the death anniversary of former chief minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed. Publically it is publicised that three BJP leaders are visiting only to attend 40th day of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed but internally aim of their visit is to appeal Mehbooba Mufto to take oath as Chief Minister so that BJP can again enjoy power. Credible sources said a meeting of senior leaders of BJP was held this morning in the residence of a senior leader in which it was decided that Chilsma (40th day of the death) of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed is good opportunity to place their submission before Mehbooba Mufti so it was decided that three senior would themselves visit Srinagar on Monday. Credible sources said that tasting power for 10 long months, BJP leaders are now desperate to re-attain the power because their family members are mounting pressure on them to again get power at any cost so these ministers have convinced party leadership to get power by accepting terms and conditions of Mehbooba Mufti. |
