Seminar to promote communal harmony organized 2/14/2016 10:47:47 PM Early Times Report Rajouri, Feb 14: To promote communal harmony and unity among all sections of the society in Rajouri and Poonch districts, Army under the aegis of Ace of Spades Division has planned to organize a seminar on 'Religious Diversity-Pride & Strength of J&K'. The seminar will be organized at Rajouri on February 16 at Raina Auditorium at the Hqs of Ace of Spades Division. Being the 7th largest district of J&K Rajouri ,with its multi-cultural, multi-linguistic and multi-ethnic demography truly symbolizes the diverse religious spectrum of the beautiful state of J&K. Keeping the communal situation of recent past in mind and the growth potential of the region, the Ace of Spades Division has already involved key stakeholders from various sections and fields of Rajouri society and pioneered the foundation of the 'Rajouri Ekta Committee' and thus set the ball rolling for achieving the vision of communal harmony in the region. Senior officers from Army as well as civil administration besides host of civil dignitaries are expected to be in attendance for the event. Army personnel, religious scholars, media persons, school & college children shall also be the part of the function/ seminar.
