JAMMU, Feb 14: Jammu and Kashmir Badminton Association is holding 42nd J&K State Badminton Championships at twin venues of J&K Police Hall and Indoor Complex, MA Stadium, here from February 18 to February 21.
As per a handout issued here today, the competition shall be held in different categories of men, women, veteran singles and doubles as also in junior (under-19, under-17, under-15 and under-13) boys and girls. The events have also been planned for those under-10 boys and girls during this four-day competition.
It will be out of this competition that state teams for the upcoming senior national and veteran championship shall be selected by the Association on the basis of performance, the handout added. |
