| Principal makes JASCA functional, RDA appreciates | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 14: Today in a meeting held at GMC Jammu under the president RDA, Dr Akhil Gupta, Gen Secretary Dr Waseem, Vice President Dr Mohit Kalsotra, Dr Pawan Bhardwaj, Dr Vishal Gupta patron RDA wherein various issues related to the patient care and betterment of institution were discussed.
Amongst one of the issue which is brought in to the notice that few years back all co curriculum activities including sports ,cultural , which were freezed due to some issues in the past, were recently restarted by Dr Zahid Geelani, Principal GMC Jammu to promote the talent of medicos and relieving the stress due to continues studies and duties. These activities are concerned with student welfare on a variety of issues concerning life.
As GMC Jammu receive lot many invitations from AIIMS and PGI Chandigarh for participating in the overall activities, for the last five years students are not been sent or if they go, all the expenses were being paid by the students.
RDA appeals Principal GMC Jammu to activate the students fund and make ensure that the medicos give their full participation in the above said activities so that they can bring name and fame of institution.
Resident Doctor Association (RDA) also congratulated Dr Zahid Geelani, Principal GMC, Jammu for his dedicated and generous efforts to make GMC a better place for patients as well as hospital staff. RDA specifically thanks Dr Zahid Geelani for reviving Jammu and Kashmir Academic, Sports and Cultural Association (JASCA) in GMC campus which was a rarity for last five years.
When chaos threatens the moral of Resident Doctors, it is Dr Zahid Geelani who sits down with resident doctors as his children and sort out complex issues with relatively ease. |
